On the west coast, outside Strömstad, you will find Strömstad Tanum Figure Skating Club. Strömstad Tanum Figure Skating Club is a small association with currently about 40 skaters from the skating school up to system 2 skaters. We have the potential to grow and are now looking for coaches at various levels.

Strömstad Tanum Figure Skating Club offers training for children, youth, and adults with the help of well-educated leaders. We provide level-adjusted training according to the skater's own ambition level and goals.

Through play and movement, we teach children and youth the basics of figure skating. We work to stimulate the individual towards qualitative and long-term athletic and personal development.

Joy, passion, and community are the driving forces in our activities.

We are now looking for you who want to help develop the above offerings for our skaters while we offer you a solid opportunity for development in your role as a coach.

You will develop as a coach alongside Kicki Nilsson, who is our head coach, and our other youth coaches. Kicki holds the Swedish Figure Skating Association's coach education level 4b and works for the federation as an educator.

Your tasks

We are now looking for coaches, both on and off the ice, with great commitment and drive and a high ambition to develop themselves, our skaters, and Strömstad Tanum Figure Skating Club as a whole.

We see that your main tasks will include the following:

● Planning and conducting training for skaters at different levels together with other coaches

● Participating in competitions and other activities and events.

● Creating a positive training environment and contributing to a good club community

● Some administrative tasks may occur.

Collaboration and cooperation with the board, skaters, and parents is a natural part of your work.

Education and experience

We need coaches who have completed basic training or have experience as an active skater and a desire to educate themselves.

We are also looking for physical trainers for our skaters to develop their motor skills, strength, and conditioning off the ice.

Employment form

Scope approximately 12 hours/week during the season (August-May). The position involves work in the evenings and weekends. We may be able to assist with an extended employment opportunity in Strömstad municipality. If this is of interest, please mention it in your application.

We are also looking for physical trainers for approximately 4 hours/week during the season (August-June). The positions will take effect from the autumn term 2026 or by agreement.

Salary is determined individually based on education level and previous experience and qualifications.
